Our story

We are a microbrand from Split, Croatia that creates high quality, good looking watches.

Perun started out as a casual passion project.

We simply loved drawing watches. Sometimes, we’d take a classic design and change it up to suit our style, just for fun. But most of the time, we’d come up with something new, something that felt right to us.

Over time, our passion for watchmaking grew. We started exploring microbrands and realized that maybe we could turn this into something real. What began as a creative hobby slowly turned into a leap of faith and a new career. Now, we're making something that truly resonates with us - not just a watch that looks good, but one that carries meaning and celebrates our often forgotten heritage.

Our goal is to craft pieces that are both modern and timeless, something you’d be proud to pass down for generations. We believe in quality over quantity and creating designs that speak to your soul, not just your style.

Thank you for being here and being a part of our journey. We’re excited to share our passion with you!

Why “Perun”?

We come from Croatia, a country rich in Slavic folklore and traditions. Growing up, we were surrounded by stories passed down through generations that shaped our values, customs, and creativity.

Even with different religions and beliefs, Slavic traditions stay strong. Many customs, holidays, and practices still show their ancient roots, even if people don’t always know it. Whether it’s a folk song, a dance, a myth or simply a bedtime story, Slavic folklore continues to shape the culture.

When we named our brand Perun, we wanted to honor this heritage. As the main Slavic deity Perun, the god of thunder and lightning represents strength, power and order and who better to inspire our journey than the figure who stands at the heart of Slavic mythology.

Each watch we create reflects this connection, blending the ancient stories of our ancestors with modern craftsmanship. Perun is more than just a brand - it’s our way of sharing our roots, respecting the passage of time, and honoring the traditions that shaped us.
